Background
Route One was initially engaged to provide professional consultancy advice as Knotel looked to set up their bespoke serviced office accommodation offering to the London market.
Services
On behalf of Knotel (now Newmark), Route One was appointed and retained to undertake a number of pre-acquisition surveys on prime central London office space during a period of rapid growth.
The Grade A office space surveyed to date totals over 500,00 sq ft throughout central London, much of which had been significantly refurbished.
In addition to the survey advice, Route One also reviewed and provided an assessment of operating service charge obligations. Route One worked alongside services and specialist subconsultants to provide advice in respect of M&E, fire safety, and more.
Further services included overseeing and signing off landlord fit out works when agreements had been reached in advance of space being handed over. Route One also provided advice on Knotel’s fit out contracts and delivered dilapidation assessment reports.
