Background

Over the years Route One has worked with a number of freehold owners who have had a requirement for a professional and efficient monitoring role for various schemes and development agreements within their property portfolios.

Route One Building Consultancy has been engaged by E&M on a series of rooftop development schemes within their portfolio.

Acting as freehold monitoring representative, the role has included:

• Reviewing and assisting in the development agreements
• Considering key impact implications and wider issues for existing leaseholders
• Acting as liaison/interface between stakeholders
• Review of compliance matters and dispute resolution support
• Advising legal teams throughout the build period on contractual compliance
