Manning House
Background
Route One Building Consultancy were appointed by Agelef Shipping, owners and occupiers of Manning House, to assist in a range of property matters concerning this beautiful brick building, previously used as the palace of the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Westminster between 1873 and 1901.
Support included defects analysis, dilapidations advice, terminal schedule preparation, schedules of condition, and managing the extensive refurbishment of the external envelope and internal office space.
External Works
The project comprised significant structural repair to stone detailing, complete renovation of the existing cast iron railings, and extensive sash window replacement and repair.
All works were successfully completed on time and to budget.
