Route One Building Consultancy were engaged by Jack Wills clothing company over many years and during their peak (2016 when they held 70 No. stores in the UK) to assist on many property and consultancy matters including pre-acquisition surveys, schedules of condition, party wall matters, but predominantly assessment and managing the dilapidations claims as well as assisting with strategy and general dilapidation assessment of their entire property portfolio.

Route One was also engaged in large scale dilapidation cases with their main distribution/warehouse centres managing claims and dealing with large institutional landlords/funds.

Route One was engaged over a period of approximately 6 years and visited the vast majority of the Jack Wills stores across the breadth of the UK.

Due to the nature of their business Route One’s ability to react quickly and turn around reports was key and this consistent approach kept the practice working very closely with the owner and his team.
